Refund Policy

YLA Refund Policy

  • The yearly membership fee is non-refundable
  • Last day for full refunds of class fees:
    • Fall Semester: August 10
    • Spring Semester: January 1
  • After August 10/ January 1 partial refunds MAY be available
    • Partial refund from YLA
      • Partial refunds from YLA are the rent portion of the clas fees, and range from $15-$30 per class depending on the smester/year.
      • Partial refunds from YLA are available until end-of-day on the 2nd Scholar Day for that semester
        • For example, the second Scholar Day for Fall 2026 was September 9. Therefore, the deadline for a partial refund from YLA was end-of-day on September 9.
    • Partial refunds from Mentors
      • Mentors are allowed, BUT NOT REQUIRED, to offer refunds for their portion of their class fees after Aug 10/ Jan 1. If the class is dropped after these dates, you will need to reach out to the mentor personally about any potential refund.
  • No refunds or class switching allowed after the 2nd Scholar day of the given semester.
